Involvements
Opération Enfant Soleil
For several years now, Magasins Korvette employees have been very actively involved in helping children in need of medical care. We collect donations made by our customers in every Korvette stores across the province. These donations are then given to Opération Enfant Soleil, a non-profit organization that collects funds to support quality pediatric care and help carry out social intervention projects that benefit all of Quebec's children. Each year, in the weeks before Opération Enfant Soleil's annual telethon, our company has a promotional blitz to our customers.
Thanks to our customers, we were able to donate $65,000 to the telethon which took place on June 2016, through the sale of pens, sale of Operation Enfant Soleil House tickets and the money collected from the donation cans permanently placed on our checkout counters throughout our stores.
To date, we have collected and donated $531,160 to help children in need of medical care
We are inviting all our customers to support the foundation by stuffing money in the donation cans each time they visit one of our stores. Opération Enfant Soleil can issue a tax receipt for any amount above $10.00, if requested. Contact our store managers for more information.
Optométristes Sans Frontières
Optométristes Sans Frontières (OSF) is a project to provide unpaid optometry care in poor countries developing them to provide counselling on eye health and to support the development of local skills.
In each of our stores, we have an O.S.F. box in which the customer can donate their old glasses. It will then be forwarded to O.S.F. who will ship this to a developing country that will be used for the good of the people.

Recycling
We believe in protecting the environment. We are also aware of how important it is to soundly manage the material left over from handling the items sold in store.
Cardboard
The large volume of merchandise handled each day in Magasins Korvette stores throughout Quebec generates tons of cardboard. That is why the employees at each store, as well as the distribution centre in Trois-Rivières, make it a point not to throw away recyclable cardboard boxes.
In every municipality that is home to a Magasins Korvette store, we have signed agreements with companies that specialize in the selective collection of recyclable material, especially cardboard.
